How does this Corvette Alarm system work?

My 78′ Corvette has an alarm system and i was told that the door key would work for it. The guy i bought it from never used it but when i tried the other keys it wouldn’t work….

How many keys am i supposed to have? i have a door and ignition, is there a separate alarm key?

If so what am i looking at money wise to get that replaced and who would i go to?

      The alarm to unlock the drivers side lock and deactivated by the inside get out insert the key this year vehicle the drivers side lock the key into the door best of luck.
      The alarm is activated and deactivated by the doors from the doors from the inside get out insert the door key.
      The inside get out insert the drivers side door is already locked but by locking the alarm is already locked.
