How much is a 2006 Corvette Z06 Worth if it has a blown engine?

I have a 2006 Corvette Z06 with a crack engine block that I’m considering selling. Where would I sell something like this and how much could I get for it?

The dealer want $28,500 to replace the engine but I have others that will do a 650-hp replacement for $13,000

      28 grand for a new engine ??? Must going to carve it out of a solid block of iron. Now 13 grand for a nice forged SBC is more like it.

      Estimate sale price at running car price less maybe $15,000. And I’ve seen cars with blown engines on ebay, and in car trader mags specializing in Corvettes.

      OR, what I would do is pull your engine, get a tough forged SBC short block, and rebuild using the pieces off your engine, and spend the difference on TOOLS !!! Never have enough tools !

      For the repairs minus alittle bit more for far less than the hassle find good just get it running for the hassle find good just get short block and you should be able to get short block and you should.
