I have a 76 Corvette, and on the body there is a key hole where the stingray emblem is, which is right above the driver side front tire. I noticed it and wondered what it was for. Design or something else. Any crazy help would be cool.

   The hood locked there can be alot of theft from those cars.

   An old alarm system they used to be manually activated way back then.
