i dont know the condition of your car and i love sounds but if that car is in good condition a would not put anything too serious in it because it is a CLASSIC and bass will slowly but surely tear it apart
i would recommend getting some high quality component speakers (front and rear both on an amp) and see if that does it for you and if not maybe a single 10″ or 12″ (even a bazooka tube) but i (just me you can do whatever you please) would not put a serious sound system in a 35 year old classic corvette
