I’m interested in buying a Corvette Stingray but I’m unsure which year is the best in terms of design and style. Some have told me that it’s the 1981. Others have said 1978 which was their anniversary year. Any help offered would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

   68 to 72 chrome bumper cars. 73 were odd with chrome back and urethane front. 74 to 77 were nice , but very underpowered. 78 to 79 nice with sloping back glass. 80 nice new body but not as nice inside. 81 bad car, same as 81 but one year only crappy electronic feedback carb. 82 nice with new electronic fuel injection but no manual trans available.
   All around price wise and fun / $ 74 to 76.
